Collax Server Update 7.2.42 - Important Security Update

13.05.2026

Important Security Update

Security vulnerabilities in the kernel have recently come to light that allow attackers to gain root privileges. The risk has been classified as “high.” The researchers who discovered the vulnerabilities have named them “Fail Copy” and “Dirty Frag.”

A new Linux kernel has been integrated to address the two security vulnerabilities, “Fail Copy” and “Dirty Frag.”

The Apache web server is also affected by the security vulnerabilities that have come to light. Although vulnerabilities rated “critical” and “high” did not affect Collax servers, they were also patched in this update.
